“Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.” – Goethe
I believe in seasons of growth and times when extra support is crucial to development. In my many years of working in the therapeutic realm, I have developed a love for transitional work. Young people are my specialty – connecting with tweens, teens and twenty-somethings. Whether dealing with overwhelming depression or anxiety, navigating all the pieces of “becoming”, or looking for tools – I am on your side and in your corner. I am client centered and goal oriented. I bring in a mind-body perspective to all my work, and believe that therapy is a collaborative relationship.
My work is always evolving and shifting because the people I encounter are fluid. My ways of working with you will be different than how I work with them, and that is a strength I bring to my practice. I am open to the possibility that you know exactly what you need, and I am confident enough to suggest interventions when you don’t know where to start. I believe that showing up and doing the hard work leads to greater authenticity and finding a more lovely way of being wholly you.
I have been a therapist for over a decade, and have had the privilege of working in a number of unique ways, including part of a recovery program, as a military consultant, therapist at a group home, guidance counselor for an international school and private practice. With every experience my love of the work I do has grown and I am grateful every day to be able to engage in this way.
I’d love to meet you,
